Quickstart

1. Sign in

Open Stellar and sign in with your account. If the app asks for helper approval, open System Settings and allow Stellar to run its helper service.

2. Pick a line

Open Line and choose the location you want to use. Premium-only lines are shown in the app; choose an available line for your plan.

3. Turn Stellar on

Return to Home and click the central connection control. The status indicator changes when the tunnel is ready.

4. Choose how traffic routes

• HTTP Allowlist: best starting point for normal browsing.
• HTTP Global: sends proxy-aware app traffic through Stellar.
• PC Allowlist / PC Global: use these when desktop apps ignore HTTP proxy settings.
• HTTP Transparent: starts the local proxy without changing system settings.

5. Confirm the local proxy

For manual browser, terminal, or extension setup:

• HTTP: 127.0.0.1:8668
• SOCKS5: 127.0.0.1:1080

If the connection turns off immediately, open Troubleshooting.
